SOWEC recruiting for new industry co-chair
Nominations and applications are now open for a new industry co-chair to help lead SOWEC's work in the offshore wind sector
Claire Mack will shortly be stepping down from her role as SOWEC industry co-chair on 30 July 2026.
SOWEC is now inviting nominations and applicants for a new industry co-chair. A vital role on the council, the industry co-chair acts as lead point of contact with external stakeholders and industry, working to ensure SOWEC activity feeds into and is coordinated with other relevant Scottish and UK-wide organisations (including OWIC). They also drive workstream delivery against the SOWEC goals.
This is a two year role with the option to extend by one year to a maximum three year tenure. For further information on the role please email SOWEC@3x1.com.
Nominations are welcomed from SOWEC group members, senior industry representatives, and other stakeholders.
Individuals may also apply and are asked to provide a CV along with a letter of interest outlining their suitability for the role.
